In Tokyo,... people can wash their hands and sanitize their smartphones in the middle of the street.
The hand-washing stations in the Ginza district were created by a Japanese start-up,... offering a new option for personal hygiene.
"If I use alcohol sanitizer too much, my hands get rough. So, I would appreciate water."
The machine requires no running water or giant water tanks.
Instead, it recycles water using chemicals.
And it uses ultraviolet light to sanitize phones, which takes about 30 seconds.
