U.S. transportation nominee Pete Buttigieg has called for the use of millions of new electric vehicles on the roads in the country.
Buttigieg tweeted on Tuesday that such plans are needed to tackle the climate crisis and added that it's time to build public charging infrastructure powered by clean energy.
