A dorm at Korea University will be used as a residential treatment center to care for COVID-19 patients with mild symptoms.
The university announced on Tuesday that it would provide one-hundred-fifty rooms for one month starting Wednesday.
It added that medical staff and quarantine personnel will be present 24 hours a day to ensure patients are isolated from students and locals.
The university said its decision came in response to the Seoul Metropolitan Government's request.
