Derry singer Dana has joined Mayor Brian Tierney to urge everyone in the north west to keep showing “that famous community spirit” to protect each other against COVID-19 this Christmas.
The 1970 Eurovision Song Contest winner is the latest in a series of high profile celebrities from Derry & Strabane to take part on an online video appeal urging caution as the north prepares to reopen later this week following a two-week circuit breaker. Others include Roma Downey and boxer turned actor John Duddy.
