S. Korea, UAE foreign ministers discuss disease control cooperation

South Korean Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha met on Saturday in Abu Dhabi with her counterpart in the UAE, Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, with whom she discussed bilaterial cooperation in areas including disease control.
According to the foreign ministry in Seoul, they also exchanged views on relations in the Middle East, on the Korean Peninsula and between the U.S. and China.
The foreign ministry says the UAE sent a plane to pick up Minister Kang from Bahrain where she was attending other meetings and brought her and the officials travling with her because it regarded a meeting with her as urgent.
