S. Korean and UAE defense ministers agree to step up defense cooperation

South Korea's defense minister, Jeong Kyeong-doo, held talks on Saturday with his counterpart in the United Arab Emirates Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bowardi... about strengthening their two countries' defense cooperation.
Minister Jeong was in Abu Dhabi on a six day trip to the UAE.
They talked about ways to strengthen cooperation by improving exchanges in terms of military personnel, training and cyber security.
They also agreed to do more together in defense R&D.
While in Abu Dhabi,... the South Korean defense chief also went to this year's International Defense Exhibition and Conference,... which is attended by some 15-hundred defense firms from around 70 countries, including South Korea.
