According to Le Monde Thursday, ...the Pasteur Institute estimates an 11 percent infection rate among the population ...based on the number of COVID-19 patients in hospital.
This translates into seven-point-three million cases, ...more than three times higher than the official count of two-point-26 million.
The institute also forecast the country's reproductive 'R' rate will bounce back to one-point-one by mid-December ...if the country lifts its lockdown.
