Mok-yeon, the EU has sent out a strong message to the U.S.,... that it is time for the two to "reconnect".
It announced a new EU-U.S. agenda,... which aims to foster stronger cooperation in four key areas.
They include health response, climate change, trade and tech, and security.
This comes after a tense four years of trans-Atlantic ties during the Trump administration.
And the EU is hoping things will improve when the President-elect Joe Biden takes office in January.
On top of the agenda will be easing tensions on the trade front,... over issues related to tariffs on American steel products and U.S. tech giant's dominance in the European market.
These were areas that were often criticized by President Trump.
The EU is set to announce specific policies over the issues in the coming weeks.
