And U.S. President Donald Trump seemingly makes an agreement with the European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker as they try to avoid full-blown trade war.
Meeting at the White House on Wednesday,... the two Presidents said they struck a preliminary deal,... with President Trump saying that it was a quote "very big day for free and fair trade."
They have agreed to increase European imports of U.S. liquefied natural gas and soybeans and lower industrial tariffs on both sides--... this following Trump's threat to impose tariffs on car imports.
Also included in the agreement,... the U.S. and European Union will "hold off on other tariffs" while negotiations are taking place.
