Newly confirmed COVID-19 cases in S. Korea surpasses 500 for 3 consecutive days

COVID-19 cases continue to surge in South Korea and the number of newly confirmed cases has been above 500 for three consecutive days.
The health authorities announced 5-hundred-four newly confirmed cases on Saturday, bringing the total number of cases up to 33-thousand-3-hundred-75.
Most of these new cases are from metropolitan areas, with 176 confirmed in Seoul and 122 in Gyeonggi-do province.
Due to the surging number of domestic cases and with the college entrance exam Suneung just five days away, the government is contemplating enhancing the social distancing level.
