Delhi CM Kejriwal seeks 1,000 ICU beds from Centre

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal speaks to PM Modi during the meeting with chief ministers. CM Kejriwal informed the PM Modi that Delhi saw a peak of 8,600 coronavirus cases on November 10 in the third peak so far. Since then cases and positivity rate have steadily decreased, we hope this trend continues, Kejriwal told PM Modi. "The high severity of the third wave is due to many factors. Pollution is an important factor," said CM Kejriwal and sought PM Modi’s intervention to get rid of stubble burning and pollution from adjoining states. CM Kejriwal also sought reservation of an additional 1,000 ICU beds in central govt hospitals till the third corona wave lasts in Delhi.
