Delhi to get 663 ICU beds as city records 131 COVID deaths

Over 660 ICU beds will be added in various Delhi government hospitals in the next few days in view of the surge in COVID-19 cases in the city, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Wednesday.He was interacting with reporters after visiting GTB Hospital in east Delhi. Delhi recorded 7,486 fresh COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, taking the infection tally in the city to over five lakh, while 131 new fatalities, the highest single-day death count till date.
