Despite the CDC's strong advisory on refraining from traveling during the holiday season, over 3-million Americans passed through airport checkpoints last weekend.
That's the highest number of travelers since the pandemic hit the country in March.
This comes amid a fifteen percent increase in the country's daily tally in just a week.
