Elon Musk the CEO of American electric car company Tesla is set to become the world's third-richest person.
This comes as Tesla's shares jumped 13 percent on Monday,... following the company's addition to the S&P 500 a major U.S. stock market index.
Owning 20 percent of the company's shares, Musk gained another 15 billion dollars overnight putting him ahead of Facebook chief Mark Zuckerberg on the Bloomberg's Billionaire Index.
The top two spots are held by Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and Microsoft founder Bill Gates.
