Four years of demonetisation: Congress told waste, BJP counted its benefits. Exactly four years ago in the country, 500 and 1000 rupee notes were stopped from midnight on this day itself. Due to the sudden demonetisation, the whole country was stirred up. About half an hour after demonetisation, long queues of people started outside the ATM machines.

देश में ठीक चार साल पहले आज के ही दिन आधी रात से 500 और 1000 रुपये के नोटों को बंद कर दिया था. अचानक हुई नोटबंदी की वजह से पूरे देश में हड़कंप मच गया था. नोटबंदी के करीब आधे घंटे बाद ही एटीएम मशीनों के बाहर लोगों की लंबी कतारे लगना शुरू हो गई थीं.
