Yashvardhan Kumar Sinha has taken oath as Chief Information Commissioner on Saturday. This information was given in a statement issued by Rashtrapati Bhavan. Let us tell you that on 26 August this year, after the completion of Bimal Julka's term, the post of Chief Information Commissioner was lying vacant for more than two months. President Ramnath Kovind administered the oath to Yashvardhan Kumar Sinha at a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

यशवर्धन कुमार सिन्हा ने शनिवार को मुख्य सूचना आयुक्त के तौर पर शपथ ले ली है. राष्ट्रपति भवन की ओर से जारी बयान में यह जानकारी दी गई. आपको बता दें कि इस साल 26 अगस्त को बिमल जुल्का का कार्यकाल पूरा होने के बाद दो महीने से ज्यादा समय से मुख्य सूचना आयुक्त का पद खाली पड़ा था. राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद ने राष्ट्रपति भवन में आयोजित समारोह में यशवर्धन कुमार सिन्हा को शपथ दिलाई.
