ईवीएम की चर्चा हमने यहां इस वजह से की, क्योंकि किसी राज्य में चुनावी प्रक्रिया को संपन्न कराने में कड़ी कसरत चुनाव आयोग को करनी पड़ती है। इसके अलावा इतने बड़े देश में हर कुछ महीने के अंतराल पर किसी ना किसी राज्य में चुनाव करवाए जाते हैं, जिसे संपन्न करवाने में हर बार करोड़ों रूपये का खर्च आता है। ऐसे में देश की राजनीति में कई बार ये मुद्दा गूंजा है, कि क्यों ना पूरे देश में एक साथ चुनाव करा दिये जाएं
