Pakistan batsman Ahmed Shehzad has been charged for altering the condition of the ball in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy match and the decision is set to be announced on Friday. "Central Punjab captain Ahmed Shehzad has been charged for changing the condition of the ball as per the non-identification process. Decision tomorrow," the brief media release by the PCB read.

विवाद से अहमद शहजाद का पुराना रिश्ता है. साल 2009 में अहमद शहजाद ने अपना डेब्यू मैच खेला था. करियर की शुरूआत में अहमद शहजाद ने लाजवाब प्रदर्शन कर खूब सुर्खियाँ बटोरी. पाकिस्तान के लिए तीनों फोर्मेट में शतक जड़ने वाले वह पहले बल्लेबाज भी बने. मगर, इसके बाद रफ्तार धीमी पड़ गयी. शुरूआती समय में तो अहमद शहजाद को पाकिस्तान का विराट कोहली कहा जाने लगा था. मगर, कोहली बनना तो दूर की बात है, टीम में अपनी जगह भी स्थाई नहीं कर पाए. बहरहाल, एक बार फिर अहमद शहजाद सुर्खियों में है. और इस बार उन्होंने बड़ी गलती कर दी है.
