In today's Imperfect Show, we discuss in detail about
Vijay and Sangeetha celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary on 25th August and wishes poured in for the lovely couple from fans and celebrities on social media. the controversy was raised on the same day following a poster featuring Vijay and Sangeetha. The controversial poster had Vijay's face morphed into former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor MG Ramachandran and Sangeetha's face was morphed into another former Chief Minister J Jayalalitha. The poster also called Vijay as Puratchi Thalaivar and Sangeetha as Puratchi Thalaivi which are the respective nicknames for the two respective political leaders.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has told the Madras High Court that the father-son duo, Jayaraj (59), and Emmanuel Benicks (31), arrested by the Sathankulam police in June had died of blunt injuries inflicted on them. Also, the autopsy report had revealed that Jayaraj had sustained 17 injuries, while his son Benicks had sustained 13 injuries. However, it was not clear whether the duo had sustained any internal injuries as the detailed autopsy report is yet to come.
As Judge V Bharathidasan was of the opinion that bail could not be granted to the trio at this juncture, all the three defendants withdrew their pleas.it is learned that former Sathankulam inspector Sridhar’s bail petition was rejected early this month.
The Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) currency note presses did not print even one Rs 2,000 note in 2019-20. This happened because they did not receive any order to do so. The trend seems to be in keeping with a conscious decision to bring down the share of Rs 2,000 notes in total currency under circulation, RBI has also disposed of a disproportionate share of Rs 2,000 notes in the soiled category. This raises questions about the government’s plan for the country’s highest denomination currency note. In January 2019, the government indicated that the printing of Rs 2,000 notes was being stopped as there was an adequate supply
