South Korean chipmaker SK Hynix is reportedly in talks to acquire Intel's memory-chip unit for about 10 billion U.S. dollars.
Citing industry sources,... the Wall Street Journal reports that the final decision could be announced in the coming hours.
The Intel unit makes NAND flash-memory products primarily used in devices such as hard drives, thumb drives and cameras.
The company has been looking to get out of the business,... due largely to sagging prices for flash memory.
