North Korea is demanding its officials abolish their old bureaucratic ways and systems,... saying they have to work hard and upgrade not only their skills, but also their competence levels.
The North's state-run Rodong Sinmun reported Tuesday that workers of the so-called 'new generation' should continue to train hard and improve themselves.
It said that will guarantee them the power and right to speak up...not their positions or their educational background.
Watchers say the regime is desperate and struggling to recover from numerous challenges, including COVID-19.
