While the U.S. seemed to have been making progress in its battle against the coronavirus since August,... the virus is again spreading fast across the country.
According to CNN, the number of confirmed cases has increased by at least 10 percent on-week in 31 states.
The percentage of positive test results is also rising in 25 states that have been hit the hardest.
In the UK, the country's chief medical officer has warned that there could be 50-thousand COVID-19 cases a day next month and 200-plus deaths daily,... if the country fails to flatten the curve.
