Despite a lack of dialogue between the United States and North Korea,... U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo says efforts are under way to possibly resume talks.
Speaking at a webinar hosted by the Atlantic Council on Tuesday,... Pompeo expressed optimism on the prospects of resuming dialogue,... adding South Korea and Japan having been working together to bring North Korea back to talks.
His comments also come amid speculation North Korean leader Kim Jong-un may agree to an "October surprise" meeting with President Trump ahead of the November 3rd U.S. presidential election.
