North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has praised troops for their swift efforts to rebuild villages ravaged by recent typhoons and summer floods.
The regime's state media reported Tuesday that Kim visited Hwanghaebuk-do Province.
It's the first typhoon-hit area where all traces of damage caused by Typhoon Bavi have been cleared.
The report said it had been successfully re-built as a "a socialist fairyland."
Visiting typhoon-hit regions, Kim has been ordering complete reconstruction and restoration before the anniversary of the ruling Workers' Party's founding, which is October 10th.
