Yes, indeed. There are only two matches left of the regular season and on Sunday, Ki Sung-yueng picked up his first win for FC Seoul since returning to K League - and in the 'Super Match' no less. Ki was a sub but came on at half time with the score at 1-1 against bitter rivals Suwon Bluewings and helped Seoul onto a 2-1 win. The victory moved Seoul into the top six but the defeat for Suwon, along with Incheon's draw with Busan, means the gap at the bottom is down to just two points. At the top, Ulsan and Jeonbuk both drew meaning the gap is still five points but they play each other on Tuesday.
As of Monday South Korea is back to Level Two social distancing. Does this mean fans will be allowed back in sports stadiums again soon?
Unfortunately not, no. We would have to be back at Level One for that to happen so not quite yet. But the season runs up until early December so there's still time.
Over in the UK, the new Premier League season kicked off over the weekend, featuring Korean national team captain Son Heung-min. How did he get on?
It wasn't the greatest of starts for Son Heung-min or Tottenham Hotspur, to be honest. Spurs were at home on the opening day for just the second time in 10 seasons but were unable to mark the occasion with a win. They lost 1-0 to Everton but Son played the full 90 minutes, starting on the left wing.
Not ideal, but it proved to be a productive weekend for a whole host of other South Korean stars...
It certainly did. Most notably, Hwang Hee-chan who had had a debut to remember for RB Leipzig, starting, scoring and providing an assist in a 3-1 German cup win over Nuremburg. Hwang made the switch from the so-called "other Bundesliga" in Austria over the summer after a successful spell with Red Bull Salzburg.
But as you say, he wasn't the only one. Lee Seung-woo started and scored twice for Sint-Truiden in Belgium. Unfortunately, they lost 3-2 but Lee is off the mark for the season. Meanwhile, 2019 Golden Boy Lee Kang-in provided an assist in Valencia's 4-2 La Liga win over Levante.

He was and he seemed to catch the New York Mets off guard, switching things up pitching-wise. He is known for being a 'changeup pitcher' but used it just 17% of the time compared to 30% against the Yankees recently. He and the Blue Jays' beat the Mets seven-to-three, during which he gave up just eight hits, one run in six innings, struck out seven and walked none for his fourth win of the season.
Meanwhile, here in Korea there was plenty going on in KBO over the weekend...
