Indian army vehicles were seen driving through the Himalayan town of Leh in the Ladakh region on September 8, 2020. This came after China and India have accused each other of firing shots on their disputed border the previous day. China said Indian forces had violated an earlier agreement by crossing the Line of Actual Control and fired warning shots but India’s defence ministry denied its soldiers had fired any shots and accused the Chinese side of opening fire in the clash.
