NCRB Report: किसानों से ज्यादा दिहाड़ी मजदूरों ने की खुदकुशी, जानिए आंकड़े | वनइंडिया हिंदी

As many as 42,480 farmers and daily wagers committed suicide in 2019, an increase of about 6 per cent from the previous year, as the number of farmers committing suicide fell marginally while that of daily wagers increased 8 per cent. According to the latest National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) data on accidental deaths and suicides, 10,281 farmers committed suicide in 2019, down from 10,357 in 2018, whereas the figure for daily wagers went up to 32,559 from 30,132.

साल 2019 में 42,480 किसानों और दिहाड़ी मजदूरों ने आत्महत्या की. राष्ट्रीय अपराध रिकॉर्ड ब्यूरो यानि एनसीआरबी की नई रिपोर्ट से ये जानकारी सामने आई है. इससे पिछले साल 2018 के मुकाबले किसानों की आत्महत्या में मामूली गिरावट आई है, जबकि दिहाड़ी कामगारों की आत्महत्या में आठ फीसदी की बढ़ोतरी हुई है. इकोनॉमिक टाइम्स के अनुसार एनसीआरबी के आंकड़ों के मुताबिक साल 2019 में 10,281 किसानों ने आत्महत्या की, जो कि साल 2018 में 10,357 किसान आत्महत्या के मुकाबले बहुत थोड़ा ही कम है.
