The government implemented demonetisation four years ago. His aim was to get rid of the problem of fake notes. At that time the government had discontinued 500 and 1,000 rupee notes. After this, the government brought a new note of Rs 2,000. It was then believed that this would be the answer to fake currency and black money, but it does not appear to be happening after nearly four years of demonetisation.Last year, the maximum number of fake notes that were caught was only Rs 2,000.

सरकार ने चार साल पहले नोटबंदी लागू की थी। उसका मकसद नकली नोटों की समस्या से छुटकारा पाना था। उस समय सरकार ने 500 रुपये और 1,000 रुपये के नोट बंद कर दिए थे। इसके बाद सरकार 2,000 रुपये का नया नोट लेकर आई थी। तब माना गया था कि ये फेक करेंसी और कालेधन का जवाब बनेगा, लेकिन नोटबंदी के करीब चार साल बाद ऐसा होता नहीं दिख रहा है... पिछले साल जितने भी नकली नोट पकड़े गए, उनमें सबसे ज्यादा 2,000 रुपये के ही थे।
