The black-business of counterfeit notes in the country has flourished so much in these years that you will also be stunned if you hear the statistics related to it. In this regard, the Reserve Bank of India has expressed deep concern and said that in the financial year 2021-22, fake notes have come into circulation in large numbers. Even the fake notes of 500 rupees have almost doubled in a year.

देश में नकली नोटों का काला-कारोबार इन सालों में इतना फला-फूला है, कि इससे जुड़े आंकड़े सुनेंगे तो आप भी दंग रह जाएंगे। इस संबंध में रिज़र्व बैंक ऑफ इंडिया ने गहरी चिंता ज़ाहिर की है और बताया कि वित्त वर्ष 2021-22 में नकली नोट बहुत बड़ी संख्या में चलन में आए हैं। यहां तक कि 500 रुपये के नकली नोट तो एक साल में ही लगभग दुगने हो चुके हैं।
