Teenage volunteers on an archaeological dig in Israel have discovered a hoard of gold coins... that date back more than a thousand years.
Israel Antiquities Authorities say the coins are likely early Islamic from the 9th century.
The collection of four-hundred-25 pure gold coins was stowed in a pottery vessel, with its lid secured with a nail.
The discovery is one of the largest caches of ancient coins unearthed in Israel.
