The Reserve Bank of India's income declined in the previous fiscal even as the banking regulator made higher provisions due to measures to cushion the economy from the impact of Covid-19, leading to lower surplus transfer to the government. Total income fell 22.46% year-on-year to Rs 1.49 lakh crore in the year ended June, according to the RBI's annual report.

RBI ने 2019-20 का सालाना रिपोर्ट जारी कर दी है। जिसमें कहा गया है कि COVID संकट के कारण आर्थिक गतिविधि प्रभावित हुई है। इससे उत्पादन और सप्लाई चेन प्रभावित हुआ है। लागत में कटौती के कारण खर्चों में कमी आई है। धीमे इन्वेस्टमेंट के कारण और रिफॉर्म की जरूरत है। धीमी गतिविधियों से अर्थव्यवस्था प्रभावित हुई है।इस रिपोर्ट में बताया गया है कि 2019-20 में कुल ग्रॉस इनकम 1.50 लाख करोड़ रुपये रहा है।
