Family calls for independent investigation into police custody death

Family members of Thanaseelan Muniandy, who died in police custody, have called for an independent investigation into his death. His wife S. Piremilah called for an independent team from Bukit Aman to investigate the matter "without any outside interference" after lodging lodging a police report on Wednesday.
