Malaysia-China Business Council (MCBC) chairman Tan Kok Wai remains confident of his decision to appoint Hew Kuan Yau as CEO despite criticisms against him.
The DAP chairman called on critics to adopt a more positive attitude towards Hew’s appointment, saying that their optimism will pay off in months to come.
Hew, who is popularly known as "Superman Hew” for his fondness for wearing T-shirts with the superhero’s logo, is a former DAP member known for his outspokenness.
