Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has brushed off criticism that cancelling the Kuala Lumpur–Singapore High-Speed Rail (HSR) project will come at a great cost to Malaysia
and is demanding Umno strategic communications spokesman Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Dahlan to produce evidence that the country would lose out if it scraps the project.
