Three-hundred-75 billion U.S. dollars.
That's how much the COVID-19 pandemic is costing the global economy each month.
Citing the IMF, the World Health Organization said Thursday that the world has already spent trillions of dollars to counteract the pandemic and predicted a cumulative twelve trillion dollars will be lost over the next two years.
The head of the WHO says the best economic stimulus the world can invest in is funding the WHO's A-C-T Accelerator...a global collaboration organized to tackle the virus.
He added that there are nine vaccine candidates in production and some are already into second or third phase human trials.
