IMF chief says global economic growth has lost momentum

The head of the IMF Christine Lagarde.... is warning that global economic growth has lost momentum... and 70-percent of the world economy is likely to slow down this year.
During a speech to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington on Tuesday....she said,... downside risks for this year and the next include.... uncertainties over Brexit..., global trade tensions,... and unease in financial markets.
However, she said the situation might improve thanks to the U.S. Federal Reserve's "more patient pace" in normalizing its monetary policy.
The IMF will release an updated World Economic Outlook next Tuesday.
