Ramayana Circuit to boost religious tourism, revive local economy

After Ram mandir in Ayodhya, now the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) focuses on the construction of the Ramayana Circuit to boost religious tourism in the country. According to the PIB, "Ramayana Circuit is one of the fifteen thematic circuits identified for development under the Swadesh Darshan scheme of Ministry of Tourism". Also, the Indian Railways Ramayana Circuit tours cover sites associated with Rama.
