After heavy rains in Nepal, there is a possibility of releasing four and a half lakh cusecs of water from Valmiki Nagar Barrage. After this apprehension, the Gopalganj DM has also declared a high alert in the district. BDO and CO of all flood prone areas of the district have been instructed to inform the people through miking to come out from the villages within the embankments.

नेपाल में भारी बारिश के बाद वाल्मीकि नगर बराज से जहा साढ़े चार लाख क्यूसेक पानी छोड़े जाने की आशंका है. वही इस आशंका के बाद गोपालगंज डीएम ने भी जिले में हाई अलर्ट घोषित कर दिया है. जिले के सभी बाढ़ संभावित क्षेत्रो के बीडीओ और सीओ को निर्देश दिया है की वो तटबंधो के अन्दर बसे गांवो से लोगो को बाहर आने के लिए माइकिंग के माध्यम से सूचित करे.
