The flood situation in Bihar is continuously deteriorating. More than six lakh population of more than 10 districts of the state is in the grip of flood. Meanwhile, the flood situation in Gopalganj district has worsened. The embankment of the river Gandak has been broken in the district. This has increased the risk of flooding in new areas.

बिहार में बाढ़ की स्थिति लगातार खराब होती जा रही है. राज्य के 10 से अधिक जिलों की छह लाख से अधिक आबादी बाढ़ की चपेट में है. इस बीच गोपालगंज जिले में बाढ़ की स्थिति और बिगड़ गई है. जिले में गंडक नदी का तटबंध टूट गया है. इससे नए इलाकों में बाढ़ का खतरा बढ़ गया है.
