This number is the largest among any country and amounts around one percent of the U.S. population.
The death toll in the U.S. stands at over 130-thousand.
Another country seeing a rapid spread of the virus is Qatar... reporting almost 550 new cases as on Monday.
That amounts three-point-six percent of Qatar's population, which is the highest ratio in the world.
