N. Korea to reenter disarmed Gaeseong and Mount Geumgang areas; rejects Seoul's offer for special envoy

북한 총참모부 "금강산, 개성공단에 군부대 전개할 것"

We are coming on-air with another startling development out of North Korea.
The North Korean military has said within the past hour that it will be re-deploying troops into the western border town of Gaeseong and Mount Geumgang in the east,... areas that had been demilitarized under the inter-Korean agreement,... exactly a day after it warned the South of its 'action plan.'
It also said the North Korean military will re-enter its guard posts in the DMZ,... without giving a timeline.
This announcement is a clear violation of the joint military agreement signed by the two Koreas under the current administration.
Kim Yo-jong, the sister of North Korean leader and also the second-most powerful figure within the regime, also called on the South to stop making 'unrealistic offers', referring to what she said was Seoul's offer to send special envoy.
An official from the presidential office in the South on Tuesday told reporters that there had not been a discussion on sending a special envoy to the North.
