World Marks International Albinism Awareness Day

Nominated senator Isaac Mwaura has expressed his disappointment in the manner in which people living with albinism are being killed over claims their body parts contain substances that can cure covid-19. The vocal senator who doubles up as the chairman of the albinism society of Kenya condemned the misleading myths being peddled around by malicious individuals whom he noted have endangered the lives persons living with albinism condition. Speaking during the fifth celebration of the international albinism awareness day, Mwaura said people living with albinism were just like anyone else thus they entitled to the fundamental right to life.
