North Korea has slammed comments by the UN spokesperson,... who said UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed "regret" over Pyeongyang's decision to cut inter-Korean hotlines.
According to the North's state run Korean Central News Agency,... North Korea's Foreign Affairs Ministry was "astonished" about what they called "reckless remarks" by the UN.
The ministry added that such remarks "cannot be overlooked" and accused Guterres of siding with the United States,... saying he expressed inappropriate and biased views.
The UN declined to comment on North Korea's statement.
