South Korean volleyball super star Kim Yeon-koung held a press conference on Tuesday regarding her upcoming return to Heungkuk Life Pink Spiders in Korea's domestic league.
One of the highest paid volleyball players in the world, Kim has taken a large paycut to join her former team.
She says her main motivation is to prepare for next year's Olympics with COVID-19 putting a halt to leagues abroad.
She added that the Korean Volleyball Association's salary cap isn't an issue as her priority is to be in the best shape possible to realize her Olympic dream.
