The country's public banks are going through a financial crisis. Many banks are failing to improve their economic condition due to NPAs and their condition is not getting better. In such a situation, the government is considering privatization of these banks. According to the report, the finance ministry has started the process of privatization of some public sector banks, this process is being started keeping in view the personal interests of these banks so that they can be strengthened further.

देश के सरकारी बैंक काफी र्थिक तंगी के दौर से गुजर रहे हैं। कई बैंक एनपीए की वजह से अपनी आर्थिक स्थिति को बेहतर करने में विफल हो रहे हैं और इनकी स्थिति बेहतर नहीं हो रही है। ऐसे में सरकार इन बैंकों के निजीकरण पर विचार कर रही है। रिपोर्ट के अनुसार वित्त मंत्रालय ने कुछ सरकारी बैंकों के निजीकरण की प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी है, यह प्रक्रिया इन बैंकों के निजी हितों को देखते हुए शुरू की जा रही है ताकि उन्हें और भी मजबूत बनाया जा सके।
