Elementary, middle and high schools will reopen in North Korea in the coming days.
Students had been scheduled to go back two months ago, but classes were suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
North Korea's state-run Korea Central Television reported Monday that the new school year will begin in early June.
It said all schools and health-related facilities must have hand sanitizers and thermometers and strictly follow disinfection measures.
Universities in North Korea resumed classes on April 20th.
