Speed News: Five rights activists arrested in Bhima Koregaon case under ‘house arrest’

The Supreme Court on Wednesday ordered the five arrested human rights activists in connection with the Bhima Koregoan violence incident, to be placed under house arrest until the next hearing on September 6. Maharashtra police on Tuesday arrested the rights activists Sudha Bhardwaj, P Varavara Rao, Gautam Navlakha, Arun Ferreira and Vernon Gonsalves for their alleged involved in the Bhima Koregaon violence which shook the nation in early January this year.
