U.S. tops one million COVID-19 cases, Russia sees cases jump, but Europe prepares on reopen

The United States has surpassed one million confirmed cases of COVID-19.
That's a third of all reported global infections.
In Russia, COVID-19 infections have spiked to over 90-thousand cases, making Russia the eighth hardest-hit country in the world.
In Europe, the Spanish government has announced plans to gradually ease the state of Emergency through the end of June.
Greece's Prime Minister said Tuesday that his country plans to relax a nationwide lockdown from May 4th.
