Thousands of Israelis hold socially distant protest against Netanyahu amid coronavirus pandemic
  • 4 years ago
Thousands of Israelis protested against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu while maintaining social distancing on April 19, 2020. Masked protesters kept two metres away from each other while voicing anger at their leader. Netanyahu is under criminal indictment in three corruption cases. He had been negotiating a power-sharing deal with his political rival Benny Gantz. Protesters called on Gantz’s party not to join a coalition with Netanyahu.
