Continental Axle Front Squats 3x3x220lb

Using my Not Quite an Inch(NQI) Axle that is 2.36" thick, I would Continental the weight to the shoulders and then Front Squat it. You will see 5x130lb, 5x180lb, 3x3x220lb. It is hard to hold an Axle that thick in the Rack position!! I'm not sure my wrist could take using a 3" Axle!! By using an Axle, I am forcing myself to use less weight on the Front Squat than if I used a regular Olympic style bar. This keeps me from doing too much to soon. We have to look out for ourselves don't we??
Front Squats are already hard enough but, pre-fatiguing the back a bit by Continentaling the weight up to the shoulders first sure does wake those back muscles up!!
God Bless!
